Adoption Info
Cats and kittens of the week: We have wonderful cats looking for a home. Many were abandoned and left to fend for themselves.
With the exception of our cats and kittens listed in our special needs category, our cats and kittens available for adoption have tested negative for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and spayed/neutered (older than 10 weeks).
Please understand that Metro Ferals will not adopt out cats as “presents”. Nor will Metro Ferals adopt to someone that has never met the cat. Metro Ferals believes that every cat deserves a loving and permanent home.
How to Adopt:
- Some Maryland cats and kittens are listed on Petfinder's website.
- Some Northern Virginia & Washington DC cats and kittens are listed on Petfinder's website.
- You may contact the foster home and prearrange a visit. Metro Ferals encourages potential adopters to visit the cats, interact, and decide on a new family member based upon your unique needs and wants.
- If you’re interested in a particular cat or kitten, please talk to a Metro Ferals representative on all the details. Here you can download a PDF of the Metro Ferals adoption application.
If you have a specific question about a particular cat, please contact Metro Ferals. |
